New construction of a drainage system running from the old Bog Garden adjacent
to the the dentist office. To address flooding issues at the Arboretum, the county
engineer designed a system to capture all of the water runoff, thereby eliminating
flooding. These photos show the excavation of part of the property in order to lay
an 18-inch water pipe along one edge of the property. The pipe was designed to
capture the water into the stormwater infiltration zone, otherwise known as the SWIZ.
